Parts / Service Limited Warranty Statement
We are committed to customer satisfaction and to delivering quality aftermarket heavy duty parts and service with the convenience – and at the competitive prices – you deserve. Many of the items we sell come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty terms will vary between manufacturers and parts. For additional information on the manufacturer’s warranty for a specific part, please see your FleetPride branch associate.
Parts (and any labor costs associated with a warrantable claim) are subject to the relevant manufacturer’s warranty, as in effect at the time of purchase, and approval. In most cases, and subject to manufacturer approval of the claim, FleetPride will replace or issue a refund for, or facilitate the repair of, a new part that fails during the applicable warranty period due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and service after proper installation.
Importantly:
- Manufacturer’s determination and approval as to the warrantability of a claim often requires that the part first be sent to the manufacturer for physical examination.
- Damage or loss caused by abuse, misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation, storage, or handling, overloading, or use contrary to manufacturer instructions is not covered by warranty.
- Warranties on replacement parts cover the unused portion of the original warranty.
To obtain warranty service for defective products, please follow the instructions in the manufacturer’s warranty included with the product or as detailed in the product’s description on our Website. The availability of products or services in our stores or through our Website does not indicate an affiliation with or endorsement of any product, third party service or manufacturer.
Labor performed by a FleetPride Service Center or FleetPride Driveline repair shop is warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for 90 days from the date of first repair. This labor warranty is conditioned on the vehicle being subjected only to normal use and maintenance and will not apply if the vehicle has been damaged by abnormal use, misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, or tampering. Payment for any non-warranty service performed must be made at the same time as the warranty service. Warranty repair costs shall in no case exceed the costs of the original related repair or service. Unless otherwise authorized in writing, FleetPride will not pay outside labor for any warranty repair.
You must be the original purchaser of the parts or labor. Proof of purchase is required.
FleetPride neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any liability in connection with the sale of any parts or labor.
THIS REPRESENTS THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF FLEETPRIDE, FOR ANY PART OR SERVICE. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT, FLEETPRIDE MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY (A) WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY; (B) WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; OR (C) WARRANTY AGAINST INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF A THIRD PARTY; WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE OR OTHERWISE. YOU AFFIRM THAT FLEETPRIDE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, FOR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY CLAIMS OR FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE MANUFACTURER’S FAILURE TO HONOR ITS WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS TO YOU. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR ENHANCED DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS OR REVENUES, DIMINUTION IN VALUE, PHYSICAL INJURIES OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF USE OF THE VEHICLE, INCONVENIENCE, RENTAL VEHICLE CHARGES, TOWING CHARGES OR ACCOMMODATIONS RESULTING FROM A DEFECT IN OR FAILURE OF THE PART OR ARISING OUT OF, OR RELATING TO, AND/OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY BREACH OF THESE TERMS, REGARDLESS OF (A) WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE, (B) WHETHER OR NOT WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND (C) THE LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE) UPON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED.
FleetPride’s sole and entire maximum liability for any reason, and your sole and exclusive remdy for any cause whatsoever, shall be limited to the actual amount you paid FleetPride for the Products or services that give rise to your claim.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or exclusion or limitation on incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Exclusive Brand Parts Limited Warranty
FleetPride, Inc. (“FleetPride” or "we") offers a limited warranty on all FleetPride exclusive brand parts, e.g., OTR and HD Value, (each an “Exclusive Brand Part”).
The limited warranty period shall run from your date of purchase from us and, except where an alternate longer limited warranty period applies for a given Exclusive Brand Part (as expressly stated on www.fleetpride.com ), last for:
- one (1) year on all Exclusive Brand Parts other than HD Value branded parts, or
- six (6) months on all HD Value branded parts
(the "Warranty Period").
We warrant that during the Warranty Period, the Exclusive Brand Part will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
If an Exclusive Brand Part fails during the Warranty Period, simply bring it in to any FleetPride Parts location during the Warranty Period, and upon confirming the defect we will, in our sole discretion, either: (a) replace such part free of charge or (b) refund the purchase price of such part.
This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation; (b) storage; (c) improper installation or use; (d) failure to follow the part instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; (e) modifications; (f) unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear; or (h) external causes such as accidents, misuse, abuse, or other faulty parts, actions or events beyond our reasonable control.
For Exclusive Brand Parts (other than those explicitly designated as severe duty parts) having a Warranty Period of more than one (1) year (as expressly stated on www.fleetpride.com), such Warranty Period shall be reduced to one (1) year for all severe duty applications. Severe duty includes, but is not limited to, refuse, mining, oil field, construction / dump truck, heavy haul, logging, and cement / concrete delivery applications / vocations.
WE LIMIT THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY.
THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED HEREIN ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. OUR LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE DEFECTIVE PART, NOR SHALL WE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
The limited warranty only applies to original purchaser of the Exclusive Brand Part ("you"). It does not extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the part.
Return Policy
WE WANT YOU TO BE FULLY SATISFIED WITH EVERY ITEM THAT YOU PURCHASE FROM FLEETPRIDE. MOST ITEMS PURCHASED FROM FLEETPRIDE MAY BE RETURNED WITHIN THE SIXTY (60) DAY PERIOD FOLLOWING THE DATE OF PURCHASE AND CAN BE RETURNED TO ANY FLEETPRIDE LOCATION (SEE CONDITIONS AND EXCEPTIONS BELOW).
Original proof of purchase is required and FleetPride must have sales history for the item. Item must be in the original packaging, uninstalled and in resalable condition. Returns will be either (a) exchanged or (b) refunded, less any original shipping / handling charges, via the original payment form, except that refunds on cash transactions in excess of $150.00 will be issued by check and mailed within 15 days of processing return.
Returnable parts, including parts purchased on FleetPride.com (other than drop-shipped parts), may be returned at any FleetPride location within the 60-day period following the date of purchase. For the return of drop-shipped parts purchased through FleetPride.com, please contact customerservice@fleetpride.com.
Not all items are returnable. Clearance and “AS IS” items are non-returnable. Special order, non-stocking, custom and certain other items may be non-returnable.*
A 25% restocking fee may be applied to the following: items received in open boxes/packaging; Any returnable special order**, non-stocking, custom and certain other items.* Certain special-order** parts may not be returnable and subject to manufacture approval before a refund can be provided. For returns made other than in-store (e.g., returned by third party carrier), the Customer shall bear the risk of loss on any shipment and pay the cost of any return freight. All special-order returns must be returned to the FleetPride location where the original purchase was made.
All cores must be usable, “like for like” (i.e., cores of equal value) and returned by the original purchaser within sixty (60) days to be eligible for credit. All fluids must be drained from cores before packaging for return. All cores must be returned in the original box or otherwise in a quality box or container and placed on a pallet. FleetPride reserves the right to evaluate returned cores and will apply deductions for damaged cores, missing core pieces, failure to completely drain cores of fluids, and/or wrong core returns.

This policy does not apply to purchases made through Parts Distributing Company (PDC). For questions regarding PDC returns, please contact your PDC-assigned salesperson.

**Special-order parts include, without limitation, (a) drop-shipped parts and (b) parts that have to be ordered in and/or designed for specific application.
