Radiator Hoses: What does it do?

A cooling system consists of multiple radiator hoses that connect from the radiator to the top of the engine, and from the radiator to the water pump. This keeps coolant flowing and cycling through the system.

Hose Clamps: What does it do?

The clamp secures the hose ends to inlets or nipples. Hose clamps can be used for other hoses under the hood such as the brake system, air lines and fuel lines. There are two types of hose clamps available which are screw type and spring style.

TECH TIP: Change and flush coolant at least every 2 years. Coolant pH levels can become caustic or acidic. Both are unstable and bad, especially with aluminum.
